Paris by Museum Night


Over 950 museums in France alone and about the same number in other European countries open their doors on Saturday night 17 May from 7pm till 1am.
It's the 4th edition of this French initiative. Last year they had over 1.3 million visitors, this year it might get even more, since the French put a lot of effort in this European project to mark their upcoming presidency over the European Union.

La Nuit des musées


Samedi 17 mai en France et en Europe aura lieu la quatrième édition de l'événement culturelle "La Nuit des Musées".
De 19h jusqu'au 1h du matin plus qu'un million de visiteurs sont attendus dans environs 950 musées en France et autant dans le reste de l'Europe.

Cette manifestation sympathique et gratuit a été crée en 2005 par les français, le ministère de la Culture et de la Communication.
L'occasion d'éteindre la télé et consommer sans modération la culture que nos musées offrent !

Rock icon Patti Smith expo at Fondation Cartier

Land 250 - called after her first Polaroid camera- shows visual work from this multi-talented artist-performer from the period 1967 to 2007. Her son Jackson plays his guitar and even gives workshops. Christian Lacroix makes new with old


You have until April 20 to see the exposition of Christian Lacroix's take on fashion history.
Lacroix made a selection of the textile museum's historical collection, over 400 pieces of different techniques and styles and mix and mingled with 80 of his own haute couture creations from his 20 years life work. To create a Fashion History exhibition from his unique point of view.
A must see for the serious fashion lovers
