Ready for a Tango in Paris

Paris, which adopted tango with such fervour that it named a Metro stop in honour of its roots, Argentine, on the No. 1 line, is home to a great many tango instructors and musicians, including many from Argentina, and there are so many places to dance every night of the year, and so many courses, practice sessions, workshops and festivals that it can be daunting.
With so many places to dance and to learn in Paris it stands to reason that approach and style can vary widely. Try a few places to see what suits you. As for lessons, in some cases you may find that an instructor prefers to sign up couples only. If you are on your own, let the teacher know.
